Ting Ministries went to the Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit! This year, Team Ting headed down to Nashville, TN!
We are proud Defenders of the Orphan!
We saw some old friends...Annie was blessed to see Kyla from ICC( International China Concern)!
To say she was excited would be a huge understatement. ..I think the entire hall heard her continuous shrieks of joy!
Our God is the defender of the orphan and He writes beautiful stories. Ting Ministries has been partnering with Agape Hands - Christian ministry of Calvary Chapel Hemet, California.
This ministry and these loving women knit and sew for the.orphan. During the winter Ting ministries shipped the socks, hats, mittens, etc to other ministry partners for orphans. Agape hands recently finished a shipment of pillowcase dresses. The dresses are beautiful and we are working on developing an orphan program where the child that receives the new dress made with love will find a sponsor to send them to school. Recently 49 street children attended Christian camp in Zamboanga run by our partners. It is our hope and prayer to send all 49 to school.( Program called " Sponsor a Dress" more coming as we develop the.program...and yes..boys will be included but need a different program name and new item)
I asked our partner in California to pray for us as we headed to CAFO 2017 to be presenters in two workshops. I told Colleen we were headed to Nashville. Colleen then told me her grandson was going to college in Nashville and he found a church he loved and he was working at the church - Brentwood Baptist! Turns out it was the church for CAFO 2017 and her grandson was working CAFO for the church!
Today we had the.opportunity and blessing to.meet Colleen's grandson! Two ministries from opposite coasts join together.

Ting Ministries has a Vision of a WORLD WITHOUT ORPHANS.
Brian (executive director of Ting Ministries) shared our vision at CAFO 2017 during the two sessions, where he was a presenter. It is possible to have a World without orphans.
We need to be in the Word of God and we need not only to follow the first part of James 1:27 but also the second part which states " ...and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
This is adoption!
