Did You Ever See A Miracle Unfold Before Your Very Eyes?

I am watching a miracle unfold before my very eyes...
Her eyes are changing from hollow shells of fear and horror to eyes
filling with joy and wonder...from a tiny shell terrified of the sight of food; fearful to move or open her mouth - a tiny little bud waiting to bloom - no sound eminating from her mouth - the little bud is blooming and opening...trusting and laughing and knowing the LOVE OF JESUS...
The LOVE of JESUS is the most powerful force...
It brings me to my knees to imagine what she must have endured for over 5 years of life...
It brings me to my knees to know that the miracle of the Cross is still alive today...
 From Pleven outcast...
 to CARPENTER PRINCESS!
All I kept hearing as I thought of our precious little LINA is Sasha singing the song - "God Help the Outcasts:"  Her words and voice brought us to tears...I don't have her on video singing this song but imagine our Russian princess Sasha singing these lyrics and then LOOK AT LINA and remember that just 4 days ago she left Pleven.  Imagine these words coming from millions of other orphans that suffer and wait...

I don't know if You can hear me
Or if You're even there
I don't know if You would listen
To a gypsy's prayer

Yes, I know I'm just an outcast
I shouldn't speak to You
Still I see Your face and wonder
Were You once an outcast too?

God help the outcasts
Hungry from birth
Show them the mercy
They don't find on earth

The lost and forgotten
They look to You still
God help the outcasts
Or nobody will

I ask for wealth, I ask for fame
I ask for glory to rise on my name
I ask for all I can possess
I ask for God and the angels to bless me
I ask for nothing
I can get by
But I know so many
Less lucky than I

God help the outcasts
The poor and downtrod
I thought we all were
The children of God

I don't know if there's a reason
Why some are blessed, some not
Why the few You seem to favor
They fear us, flee us, try not to see us

God help the outcasts
The tattered, the torn
Seeking an answer
To why they were born

Winds of misfortune
Have blown them about
You made the outcasts
Don't cast them out

The poor and unlucky
The weak and the odd
I thought they all were
The children of God[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/d/disney/god_help_the_outcasts.html ]

From Pleven Outcast to Carpenter Princess and all these miracles in 4 short days...

Isaiah 26:8 "...Our hearts desire is to glorify Your name."

LET ME Just add...I am so in love with our daughter and more blessed than words can express!  YOUR prayers are changing her world and making miracles happen before my very eyes...thank you for your prayers and love and keep the prayers coming...we have a long journey home!

  2. We look at Lina as the most beautiful of caterpillars just waiting for love, food, and family to help peel back the layers of a crysalis that has held her beauty for too long.
